Favorite and/or Unusual Tools
Presented by TGCoA Members
Most of you have a favorite gardening tool that you simply cannot live without. Bring it to the meeting and tell your fellow club members why you feel this way about it. Or maybe you have a very unusual tool, perhaps it’s one of a kind, that you would like to impress people with. It could even be that you received a gardening tool for Christmas that you have no idea how to use. Bring it and get expert operational advice. In other words we are asking you, our members, to bring in weird, unusual tools so we can guess what they are and what they do. For example, Laura Joseph recently located something she is bringing. It’s called a barking spud. Do you know what that is and what you can do with it? Who knows, we may even give out fabulous prizes to those who guess correctly and to those who stump the experts.
Plan to come and participate in this fun meeting. Mark your calendar now for Thursday, January 27, in the Austin Area Garden Center. Refreshments and fellowship begin at 7:00 pm followed by our meeting at 7:30. Our meetings are open to the public, and this would be a great time to bring your friends and neighbors. You are also invited to bring contributions for Show-and-Tell, Trade-a-Plant, and door prizes.
