In Memorium

Paul Green died May 8, 2011. He was a life member of our garden club since 1970, serving on the Board of Directors from 1991 through 1993. He received the Bronze Plaque for Horticulture in 2002. Paul spearheaded our national calendar sales for several years, selling many at his place of business, Paul’s Beauty Salon. He was a loyal advertiser of his salon in our newsletter. Paul enjoyed hosting garden tours at his home showing off hundreds of caladiums he planted each year. Up until his early 80s, Paul also participated in “gate duty” during the Zilker Garden Festivals.
