For What It's Worth

It’s spring in my garden. The flowers and trees are budding out...and so are the slugs.  This year I’m trying ammonia and water to thin the herd.  A solution of five parts water to one part ammonia won’t burn the vegetation, but will kill the slugs.  In addition, ammonia will provide nitrogen to the plants through their leaves.  I’m going to use a sprayer and go out early in the morning and spray everything the slugs love to eat while I’m sleeping.
