October Climate for Austin

The average daily maximum temperature varies from 86 at the beginning of the month to 76 at the end. The minimum varies from 64 at the beginning to 53 at the end of the month. Extremes are 98 observed in 1991 and 30 in l993. We average about 4 days with a maximum of 90 or higher.

The time between sunrise and sunset decreases from about 11 hours 53 minutes at the beginning of the month to 11 hours at the end of the month.
